Course websites and tech

  • Blackboard: We will use the course Blackboard website to post the reading assignments and assignment grades. I will also post lecture notes for classes.  Submission links and other materials you need will appear in the folder for the week that they are due. Consult the course schedule to see which folder to locate materials in.
  • JASP: We will use an open-source statistical software program to conduct data analyses in the course. You may download an app (free), or use the web-based version. The web-based version of JASP will allow you to do everything you need for class; however, it is a little more cumbersome than the downloadable app.
  • Padlet: This is a web-based interactive tool we will use in our discussions and other activities.
  • Zotero: a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research.
